We got married at Lillibrooke Manor (when I say “we”, I mean to my husband not to all of the team here!), so barn weddings will always hold a special place in my heart. There’s just something so romantic about a beautiful old building – it is a wonderful versatile canvas which allows couples to make their wedding truly personable and unique, and decorate it to match the style of their wedding. They look magical decorated with twinkly fairy lights or just as gorgeous with flowers and ivy wound around the aged timbers. They can be dressed up with a fairytale elegance or dressed down to show off true rustic charm.
We’re very fortunate here at LG Fine Art Weddings to be a preferred supplier at Lillibrooke Manor, and get to see it decorated in all the different ways people choose to make it unique for their special day. Just in the last year we have also photographed a number of other gorgeous barns, including The Tudor Barn in Burnham Beeches, The Tythe Barn in Long Crendon, The Old Bell at Hurley and Cantley House. Like I say, we are totally spoilt!*
Have a look at our pictures to get some inspiration as to how to decorate your barn of choice. To be honest, we think whatever you do it will look stunning! Even if you left it completely bare….
*We also love the wedding co-ordinators at all the barns we have photographed and will happily introduce you.
