First of all apologies for not getting this up sooner! With wedding season in full swing we have been enjoying a fun, exciting and rather busy August!
We recently enjoyed an experience of a life time – photographing the lovely Cheryl and Andrew getting married at St Paul’s Cathedral! It really was an honour to photograph such a lovely couple at such an amazing venue – a photographer’s dream come true!
Cheryl looked absolutely beautiful and it was such a pleasure to be with her and Andrew on their big day. There really is nothing like capturing the pure joy and happiness on newly wed faces.
Despite predictions of stormy weather the rain held off and the sun was shining all day. The ceremony itself was held inside the Chapel of the Order of the British Empire located in the crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral. Elegant yet intimate this was the perfect place for Cheryl and Andrew to exchange their vows. As well as taking photos in the crypt we were also able to get shots in the main cathedral itself and on the steps outside too! Having to shoo away crowds of tourists while shooting was definitely a first!
The reception was held at Box Hill School, where Andrew had lived as a child with his father as the geography master. Set in 40 acres of rolling Surrey countryside this was both a lovely and meaningful venue for the reception.
We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Cheryl and Andrew’s big day, have a look at some of the gorgeous photographs below…
