Wedding Photography FAQs
Our personalities make it special. We are three females who love everything wedding related – we get excited by the detail and emotion of the day, yet realise it is your day and not ours, and so we capture the essence of the day without being intrusive or taking over. Our creativity, skill and fantastic equipment means we can make the most of every situation, any location, lighting or weather.
We have some testimonials featured on the website, but we are happy to put you in touch with any of our brides and grooms. We are recommended by many local wedding planners and other experienced wedding suppliers.
Yes, we always invite you to the studio as it allows us to understand exactly what you want from us. It gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better, so you feel happy and relaxed on your big day.
We always have 2 photographers shooting for the whole day, and usually take around 2,000 pictures which we narrow down to approximately 300 favourites. We also have a slideshow running on a laptop at the bar for when you have finished your speeches, a lovely way for you and your evening guests to catch a glimpse of the day.
We stay at the wedding for about 8 hours, but we are totally flexible. We’re in no rush because this day is about getting it right for you.
We usually aim to have the photos ready in a few weeks to coincide with your return from honeymoon.
The albums take 3-4 weeks to design and usually 2 weeks to print.
Yes, we offer a range of styles and talk you through the choices at your viewing.
Yes please! A full day of photography is exhausting as we are running around from early in the morning, preparing our equipment, packing the cars and getting everything ready. So by the time you are ready to eat, we are also ravenous! We are happy to sit somewhere quiet, away from the celebrations though, to give you a break from the camera and to give us time to prepare you a slideshow.
We will go anywhere you want us to go, the furthest enquiry was for a wedding in Jamaica! So please do get in touch and we can tell you more about our travelling expenses.
The weather in England is always unpredictable, but we always prepare for this so there’s no need to worry! Unlike many wedding photographers who rely on natural daylight, we come prepared with some fantastic lighting, meaning we still get amazing pictures regardless of the weather!

Purchasing the high resolution disc grants you shared copyright. Until then however, the copyright belongs to LG Fine Art Weddings.
Your photoshoot is always a 2 way experience, so do chat to us about anything specific you would like. We will endeavour to incorporate it if we can.
Payment for the booking of shoots or purchasing gift boxes can be done through the website by choosing a package and clicking ‘buy’. At that point you will be redirected to card payment or Paypal. You can also pay via card over the phone if you call the studio. Payment for any products ordered at the viewing can be made at the time of the viewing by cash, cheque or credit/debit card.
The time taken from shoot to viewing is usually around two to three weeks, and your photographer will arrange for you to come in for your viewing appointment after your honeymoon so you know when to come back. The time taken for orders to be fulfilled depends on what you have ordered, but 4 weeks is about right.
Though we do have public liability insurance, we do not hold wedding indemnity insurance, so whilst we have many systems in place to protect your photos, if you want to be covered in case your wedding photos need to be retaken, then there are many good high street providers of wedding indemnity insurance available for brides and grooms.
Wedding photos are archived in 3 different places and we have no intention of deleting those!
The photographer will often be thinking when she is shooting that a particular picture is designed to be either black and white or colour. So some pictures we may be happy to change from one to the other, but this is at the discretion of your photographer.
We ask you to give us as much notice as you can if you need to change the date, so we can schedule in other weddings.
